Started as an Artist - mainly painting with some sculpting, and a Musician - solo, in bands and corporate soundtracks. {a veiled way of saying, I've written music and provided vocals for a few ads.} Singer / Songwriter - in quite a few studios and dodgy venues around the country before spending a few years dipping my toe into the warm water of animation with the Disney company in Sydney - Aladdin ; Prince of thieves, 101 Dalmatians, Timon & Pumba, Gargoyles…etc. before moving on to event management - Sydney easter show, Big Day Out, SBS IF awards, Tropfest and hundreds of one-off product or label launches.

After leaving Disney {I didn't paint anything of my own while I was there. In your down-time, you just wanted to get away from the smell of paint.} I eased back into it and exhibited in Darlinghurst, Surrey Hills and Newtown. Primarily, trying to exhaust the need Disney had instilled in me to push personalities onto inanimate objects. That done, I drifted into a more abstract and moodist approach that prompts the observer to define what is there by what's not there.

Just looking for the essence. The bare minimal of what makes something what it is.

But as always, Art is as Art does, so I'll just dip the brush into the paint and see where it takes me.
