Geoffrey Stapleton

This was the first painting I did out on the street in front of The Geoffrey Stapleton Gallery 95A Prospect Rd Prospect S.A. Australia .While I was painting it, a number of people stopped and told me what they thought the painting was about, which was helpful because I don't really think I knew what it was about myself. It had come to me in a dream (that rarely happens) and I sketched it out as soon as I got up. An earlier unfinished version appeared in the Seeing Cycles exhibition, but it was July 1012 before it was properly completed.
