As a child, Mr Squiggle was my favourite TV show. Created by Norman Heatherington, it relied on improvising a painting from a random squiggle sent in by the kids at home. My method of painting is very similar. I start with a self made squiggle and see what develops from it. A process of problem solving ensues. It was painted en plein air out the front of THE geoffrey stapleton GALLERY at 95A Prospesct Rd Prospect SA.
