When perfoming on stage, I sometimes find myself looking down into the audience and realising that a crowd, which you often think of as one entity, is made up of lots of individuals. The band had a day off on the central coast of NSW in 2010 and I cut up bits of cardboard and painted the individuals and then assembled it all later.
